Our agricultural lime is crushed from solid limestone, giving it a larger surface area, finer particles, and higher neutralising values than typical lime sand products. The result is faster reactivity, deeper soil penetration, and more immediate on‑farm impact. With greater water solubility, our lime moves further through the soil profile, targeting acidic layers and delivering long‑lasting pH correction where it’s needed most.

Size Matters
Our Premium 1st Grade Lime is produced from naturally quarried limestone at Hopelime. With a maximum particle size under 0.5mm, it spreads evenly and reacts faster, delivering maximum value for every tonne carted and spread.
Loads of Value
Our product is selected for its high neutralising value (NV), giving you more correction with less material. You only pay for the NV you receive, meaning fewer tonnes required to achieve your target pH and better long-term value.
Deeper Penetrating
Hopelime’s fine calcium carbonate sizing allows it to move deeper through soil profiles than typical sand-based products. With greater water solubility and increased surface area, it delivers faster pH correction and reaches deeper acidic zones, even with less rainfall, making it a highly reactive lime for real results in Year 1.
